The three major classes of matter are elements, compounds and mixtures. The differences between these three classifications is the focus of this lab activity. Students will do three lab activities to help understand the differences between elements, compounds and mixtures. Kit contains enough materials for 15 groups. Teacher's manual and Student Study Guide copymasters are included.
