While employed by Aldon Corporation you may have the opportunity to work in a variety of positions and departments as you learn respective skills and duties. Your initial training and assignment within the company begins in the Shipping department as a non-exempt position. In this position, you have the opportunity to assist the company in satisfying customer orders through labeling, checking and reviewing all finished goods.

Label and package products in compliance with Federal Regulations

Inspect material, products, and containers during packaging process.
Complete packaging slips with proper information
Build skids of finished goods according to Segregation Laws.
Wrap skids of finished goods with stretch wrap
Package products for shipping via UPS or Fed Ex in parcel form
Retrieve boxes from warehouse, maintaining full box supply on hand and when required assembles boxes (single shippers), reporting low box count to Shipping Supervisor.
Maintain a clean work area including packaging and labeling tools.
Assists with loading and unloading material received or waiting to be shipped as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED desired
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform basic math calculations.
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work overtime as needed, including extended days and/or weekends.
Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

Shifts Available:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
